Obituary:
Geneva Martha COLLINS, 80, transitioned her life Monday, at the home of her son at 184 Bartley Ave. after an extended illness. Mrs. Collins was born to the late Roscoe and Martha Lee Peoples Butts in Blairsville, Pennsylvania and had lived in Mansfield the past 75 years. Geneva was employed with the City of Mansfield for 39 years retiring as the Tax Director in the Finance Department. She was a member of the Shiloh Full Gospel Baptist Church where she served as head of the Cullinary Committee, Church Mother and President of the Ever Ready Club. Socially she was a member of the American Business Women's Association. Geneva is survived by her Son and Daughter-In-Law with whom she made her home during the final phase of her illness: Michael D. and Elder Renea Collins; 3 Grandchildren: Nikia (Antonio) Fletcher, Megan Collins, and Michael (Imelia) Collins all of Mansfield; 2 Adopted Grandchildren: Kodi (Amanda) Lindsay of Ashley, and Tamica Carlisle of Mansfield; 6 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters: Betty (Rev. Don) Merritt, and Rita Thompson both of Mansfield, 3 Brothers: Aaron, and Leon (V. Kay) Butts both of Mansfield, and Robert E. Butts of Somerset, Pennsylvania; a Special Niece and Nephew: Tecca Thompson of Marion, and Kevin Thompson of Columbus; 5 Godchildren: Bishop William (Bonnie) Morris, Jr., Michael Wilson, Marquis Sykes, Heather (Jason) Petty, and Jereese Barrett all of Mansfield. In addition to her parents Geneva was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Calvin "Rip" Collins, 1 Sister,and 2 Brothers .

Services:
Friends may call Sunday after 3 p.m in the Shiloh Full Gospell Baptist Church where the family will receive friends from 6-8. Home Going services will be held Monday, at 11:00 A.M. at the church by Dr. Walter E. Jordan, II of the Oasis of Love Church to allow Bishop Morris to be a part of the family. Interment will be in Mansfield Cemetery The family will also receive friends at the home of her son daily from 4-9 til the day of the funeral service.
