Obituary:
Fenley JONES, Jr., 78, of 117 Willowbrook Dr. died Sunday, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness. Mr. Jones, was born to the late Finley and Ara Lee Petty Jones, Sr. in Athens, Alabama and had lived in Mansfield the past 59 years. He was a member of the Shiloh Full Gospel Baptist Church where he served on the Senior Usher Board, and was a former member of the Brotherhood Singing Group until his health declined. Fenley retired in 1993 from the Foundry Division of Artesian Plumbing after 38 years of service. He was a great father, grandfather and great-grandfather to all of his grandchildren, he enjoyed life to the fullest, he loved people and most of all , he loved the Lord and was a true Christian. Fenley met no strangers making friends with everyone. Fenley is survived by his 3 Girls: Shirley Jones with whom he made his home in his final 2 years, Susan (Ronnie) Hardin of Mansfield, and Teresa (Anderson,Jr.) Brown, of Lancaster, California; 5 Grandchildren Eric (Sunny) Jones of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Anderson (Bryaunah) Brown, III and Jamaal Brown both of Lancaster, Marquise (Peggy) Grier of Norfolk, Virginia, and Kiana Hardin of Mansfield; 2 Great Grandsons: Anderson Brown, IV, and Bakari Brown of Lancaster; 1 Goddaughter: Jamiyyah White of Columbus, 2 Sisters: Hattie (William) Harrris and Maureen Battles both of Athens, Alabama; 2 Special Friends: Sidney Walker and Mabel Williams both of Mansfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents Fenley was also preceded in death by his wife Louise, a son Clinton E., and 1 brother.

Services:
Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 10:30 A.M. in the Shiloh Full Gospel Baptist Church by his pastor Bishop William Morris, Jr.. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Mansfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at their home, 117 Willowbrook Dr. daily from 5:30-8:00 p.m. till the day of the funeral service.
